Draisinen Oase in Templin

A great experience right through the beautiful Uckermark. Highly recommended, but sometimes a bit tedious and exhausting.

Best German cuisine - domestic style. As used to be from Grandma and the smoked fish from Grandpa. Top!

The gentleman at the bar was very rude and the coffee was below average. The cappuccino is carelessly made from powder. We didn't test the dishes, but they looked very tasty.

Basically, driving the draisine was great fun. But there are a few points that could be improved. The break houses are partly very shabby, e.g. with loose wooden boards in the floor. And there are no toilets on the way, in the forest you can also see where someone has done his "business" with toilet paper. If a woman has her period, or if people with problems have to keep it to themselves for a long time, then they have a problem and cannot go with them. I don't think it's bad that there weren't any garbage cans, they would just destroy the picture in the forest. We were able to take our garbage back with us. The draisines are in very good shape, no idea why you are partially idling, but it worked.

A nice place to enjoy home cooking. Enjoy your own smoked fish. Cake always tastes good too. Here you will be welcomed in a friendly manner. There is always something great for the small budget. We always drove back full and satisfied. A no longer entirely secret insider tip. You don't necessarily have to come by trolley. You can also make a nice stop on horseback. We only discovered the "oasis" by chance and were very pleased. A great snack as you can hardly find it. You sit in a small garden under a shed, the water from the decorative tech splashes and you just relax. Drinks are taken when ordering food. The food is brought to the table. Even if it is a snack, you can no longer say "only snack" here. OASE is the right word.

The food was very good for a small price. Only the existing Corona rules are a huge problem. If you want to eat on site, it is best to make a reservation because the restaurant is very busy at lunchtime.

It was great fun and we had a great day. You do not do it every day. On the way there are several stops for picnics or a snack. There is also a lake, which invites you to swim, but you have to do a small walk for it. Staff was super friendly.
